For our February Community Ritual, a powerful banishing and releasing ritual was performed, working with the waning moon, the perfect phase for letting go of what no longer serves us. This sacred ceremony was dedicated to clearing away negative energies, including the evil eye, stagnancy, self-doubt, anxiety, depression, oppression, and any other attachments misaligned with our highest potential.
The magnificent Goddess Kali Ma, revered as the liberator and destroyer of evil, was invoked to watch over the ritual and bless the petitions of all participants. Upon her altar, we offered rice in a coconut bowl, honey, bright pink flowers, and sandalwood incense in deep devotion to her fiery power.
Each person's name and petition was paired with a chime candle, anointed with banishing oils and dressed with an uncrossing powder to amplify the energy of release.
The ritual this evening was nothing short of intense and transformative. The fires burned brightly and quickly, a clear sign that Kali Ma accepted our offerings and petitions. At one point, the flames grew so intense that Kali’s signature energy made itself known—both the ceramic bowl and glass container cracked from the sheer heat!
This is a powerful omen, as Kali is the embodiment of fire and phoenix energy—destroying all that no longer serves us so that we can rise anew, stronger and reborn.
The ritual was a deep cleansing, a surrender to the flames of transformation. If you participated, trust that Kali has heard your prayers and is working her magick in your life.
